By attaining certification to the MSC standard we at The Captain's Table have demonstrated the company's commitment to both the port of Grimsby and the fish stocks of the Barents Sea. The long term future of fish retailing and healthy eating is dependent upon sustainable fisheries. Carisma's vessel's catch, process and freeze while at sea, ensuring a product of the highest quality.


Longlining is an environmentally friendly and sustainable catching method which also gives the very best quality to the fish. Every single fish is brought on board alive. The Norwegian autoliners are working all over the North Atlantic.
Main catch area for Cod and Haddock is the Barents Sea. For Ling and Tusk our boats are catching in deep waters along the Norwegian coast. Faroe Islands, Shetland, Rockall and the North Sea.
